Georgia Healthcare Group joins London Stock Exchange Premium Listing!
Georgia Healthcare Group is the first healthcare business in the region to be admitted to London Stock Exchange Premium Listing. Official ceremony was held on 20th November, 12 pm Tbilisi time.
Georgia Healthcare Group owns and manages EVEX Healthcare Corporation and insurance company Imedi L. The Group is the largest healthcare service and health insurance provider in the country. EVEX Healthcare Corporation owns and manages 42 clinics. Imedi L is one of the largest providers of health insurance holding 38% market share by premium earned.
To join Premium Listing, Georgia Healthcare Group had to meet the UK's highest standards of regulation and corporate governance and as a consequence its shares are now traded alongside world renowned hospital brands such as NMC Health, Al Noor Hospitals, and Spire Healthcare.
By listing its shares on the London Stock Exchange Georgia Healthcare Group has attracted new capital of USD 100 million, which will be invested into further development of clinic network, creation of modern infrastructure, introduction of innovative technologies and general improvement of healthcare services.
